A new short has been released titled Darth Santa that brings together Christmas and the Star Wars universe. And no, it has nothing to do with the infamous holiday special.
The short features everyone’s favorite Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader taking over the job of Santa Claus, and not doing a very good job of it at all. In fact, Vader is a real grinch, playing pranks and generally wreaking havoc wherever he goes. It’s basically The Nightmare Before Christmas if Vader took the place of Jack Skellington, though intentional. The music used is even an impressive fusion of Star Wars music and Christmas music, including the Grinch’s song from How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

And yes, we know Darth Vader likely wouldn’t be able to use Force lightning without frying his suit and life support system and killing himself dead. There’s no need to worry about it in this case; it’s just a fun little holiday season video.
Enjoy!
