You Can Now Read The ‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse’ Script In Its Entirety

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is ending up on many critics’ top ten lists for their favorites of the year – including my own. The film dazzles the screen with moving comic panels and comes alive with pop-up action blurbs. It’s unlike any other film you’ve seen before. It only gets better with a new web spin on the classic webhead. We don’t have to hear another retelling of Peter Parker’s story. Instead, Miles Morales swings in as the lead, breathing new life into the Spider-Man lore.
And now, you can read the script, written by co-producer Phil Lord and co-director Rodney Rothman, for yourself. It’s full of self-deprecating humor, hilarious gags, heartfelt moments, and heart-stopping action. Check it out below.

Joy To The World, ‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse’ Christmas Album Released

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse included a joke about how the title character’s enormous popularity expanded to cereals, a decent Popsicle, and of course, a Christmas album. Those who stuck around for the end credits got to hear a sample of one Webslinger (Chris Pine) from one universe sing “Spidey-Bells,” which is a play on the popular Christmas song “Jingle Bells.” But that song wasn’t included in the soundtrack or released digitally, as it would have conflicted with the themes of the actual score. But for those who were hoping to be able to get the Christmas songs, Sony Pictures Animation has heard your prayers. A Christmas EP has been released digitally and is available now.
Listen to a few of the tracks that will appear on A Very Spidey Christmas Album here below.

Alan Robert Unleashes ‘The Beauty Of Horror: Christmas Clay-Massacre’ Video

If The Nightmare Before Christmas was unleashed onto the world of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer while on bath salts, you might get the imagery shown in Alan Robert’s latest gory and graphic adult coloring book, Beauty of Horror: Ghosts of Christmas, which releases on October 30, 2018.

Anna Kendrick To Deliver Christmas Joy As Female Santa Claus In New Disney Movie

Christmas is finally behind us, and so are all the holiday-centric movies. So it wouldn’t be much of a November or December release without a movie involving Christmas or Santa Clause. And it looks like we will be getting one of those from Disney soon, with none other than Anna Kendrick starring as the daughter of Santa Claus.
The currently untitled Disney Santa Claus movie, under the working title Nicole, comes from Miss Congeniality scribe Marc Lawrence, who will also direct. Kendrick is in talks to play Santa Claus’s daughter who is forced to take over the family business after her father decides to retire and her brother gets cold feet on the big night. More on the story below.

Well, friends of the metal persuasion, that time of year has rolled around again. ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas, ‘Orange Is The New Black’ Style (Video)

1823’s “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas,” also known as “A Visit from St. Nicholas” and “The Night Before Christmas,” by Clement Clarke Moore is perhaps the best known holiday season poem.
The characters of the hit Netflix original series Orange is the New Black got together to recite the poem this holiday season, though they gave it their own little unique twist.
Their version is titled “‘Twas a Night in Litchfield,” and you can watch the video, and even read along with it, below.

‘Star Wars’ Villain Darth Vader Is The Ultimate Grinch In “Darth Santa” Christmas Short

A new short has been released titled Darth Santa that brings together Christmas and the Star Wars universe. And no, it has nothing to do with the infamous holiday special.
The short features everyone’s favorite Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader taking over the job of Santa Claus, and not doing a very good job of it at all. In fact, Vader is a real grinch, playing pranks and generally wreaking havoc wherever he goes. It’s basically The Nightmare Before Christmas if Vader took the place of Jack Skellington, though intentional. The music used is even an impressive fusion of Star Wars music and Christmas music, including the Grinch’s song from How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Neighborhood Syncs Lights To Music For Christmas Celebration (Videos)

If you’ve ever been on the internet (that’s this fancy doodad you’re using now), you’ve more than likely seen a video of a house synchronizing their holiday lights and decorations to music. We’ve seen it done using video game music; we’ve seen it done for non-Christmas holidays like Halloween; we’ve seen some good, hard metal used; and, most recently, we’ve seen a very cool Star Wars-themed lights show.
On this Christmas Eve we have for you just some lights set to Christmas music. That may sound a bit boring, sure, but the catch here is that an entire neighborhood got in on the action and synced all of their lights together. They filmed the results using a drone, and then capped it all off with a pretty spectacular little holiday celebration that will make you wish you lived there. All that’s missing is some good snow falling.
You can see all of the videos below.
