Back in October of last year we got our first look at Detroit: Become Human, the latest game from Indigo Prophecy, Heavy Rain, and Beyond: Two Souls developer Quantic Dream.
The game was back on display for Sony’s presentation at E3 2016, with a new extended trailer that takes a look at how your choices can swing a difficult situation in different ways.

Quantic Dream is known for their choice-based games, and some people simply cannot get into them because you don’t actually do a whole lot in them. It’s more about playing a story than a game—like controlling where the movie goes.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: for me, I wish there were more games like this. I love a good first-person shooter or RPG and so on, but every once in a while I love to control an experience without having to constantly worry about what I need to do next. It’s refreshing. And few do it better than Quantic Dream. I do understand why some can’t get into it, but I also feel bad for them.
All of our E3 2016 coverage can be found right here if you missed anything.
