One of the stand outs of E3 2015 was For Honor, a melee combat game that lets you play as one of three legendary warriors, a knight, a viking, or a samurai. Multiplayer gameplay was the focus of last year’s presentation.
For E3 2016 this week the game was previewed once again, this time focusing on its story campaign. To showcase that, a new trailer and gameplay demo were on display. You can check out both of them below.
I know Ubisoft can be hit or miss, and it’s hard to tell sometimes if what they’re showing is real or something made with the sole purpose of getting us excited about a game like with the first Watch Dogs, but I just have to say I’m fully sold on For Honor. And a big part of that is Jason VandenBerghe, the game’s creative director who took the stage last year and this year. That dude is awesome, and I’d buy pretty much anything he tried to sell to me. Dirt flavored ice cream, you say? Sounds adventurous…I’ll give it a try!
If you want to see the full presentation with VandenBerghe and both the trailer and gameplay demo, watch the first video below. If you’re just interested in the trailer and/or gameplay both of those videos can be found below as well.
All of our E3 2016 coverage can be found right here if you missed anything.
