A new trailer has been released for The Eyes of My Mother, an upcoming black and white horror from writer and director Nicolas Pesce.
The new trailer is disturbing enough, so I can only imagine how deep and dark the movie itself might get. It’s also more of a teaser trailer, showing peeks at a couple of scenes from the movie mixed with some accolades. The first trailer, which was released in September, was much more of an actual trailer.
You can find both of these trailers below, in case you missed the first one.
SYNOPSIS:
In their secluded farmhouse, a mother, formerly a surgeon in Portugal, teaches her daughter, Francisca, to understand anatomy and be unfazed by death. One afternoon, a mysterious visitor horrifyingly shatters the idyll of Francisca’s family life, deeply traumatizing the young girl, but also awakening some unique curiosities. Though she clings to her increasingly reticent father, Francisca’s loneliness and scarred nature converge years later when her longing to connect with the world around her takes on a distinctly dark form.
The Eyes of My Mother will be released in select theaters, video on demand services, Amazon Video, and iTunes on December 2nd.
