Last week, Chanel (Emma Roberts) devised a plan to recruit new “Chanels” for the purposes of being cannon fodder against The Green Meanie. Plan worked, as the killer struck again. Zayday (Keke Palmer) is convinced that hospital candy striper Chamberlain (James Earl) has something to do with the murders. Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) is trying to stay one step of both her illness, and the news that her CURE Institute is housing a serial killer. Back at it…

“You know, I never thought I’d say this but, that is an excellent idea Chanel.”

Chanel is super duper excited to host the hospital blood drive as she is actually trained at phlebotomy. See they need blood since all they have stashed is “recycled” blood from the floors after Green Meanie murders someone. We find out that Ingrid Hoffel (Kirstie Alley) is actually the sister of the accidentally murdered cook from Season 1. She’s working at CURE as a ruse to kill the Chanels since they are responsible for her sister’s death. While she’s not The Green Meanie; that’s a lucky coincidence, as she does plan on murdering the Chanels during the blood drive. Step 1: turn the blood drive into a contest where the winner gets a trip to Blood Island… it’s exactly what it sounds like. Chanel wants to win and take Dr. Brock Holt (John Stamos) for sexcapades, but he wants STD tests first.

Lea Michele is hilarious this week as Hester, first seen standing over Chanel’s bed with a knife. “I’m bored!” she screams, and bored former serial killers get itchy. Munsch puts her in charge of a patient whose convinced he’s a vampire. Chanel is hilarious, draining all the other Chanels simultaneously including poor #5 (Abigail Breslin) who is O- and thus the universal donor. Of course Chanel #3 (Billie Lourd) is calm, because she’s amazing. Unfortunately for Chanel her test results come back… positive… for EVERYTHING! What happens next had me literally laughing out loud… Jamie Lee Curtis chews the scenery with gusto.

Zayday encounters Chamberlain and he knows she thinks he’s the killer, but he claims innocence. Meanwhile Chanel locks down Chanel #9 for a blood sample and conveniently forgets about her, allowing the Green Meanie to drain her completely. We actually find out who at least one of the Green Meanies are, and the killer gains an accomplice. In one final moment that again had me holding in laughs, they accuse John Stamos’ Dr. Holt of being the 30-year old “baby in the belly” and thus the killer. Stamos is 53! His flattery and modesty are wonderful.

Next week’s episode looks fantastic as Holt’s evil hand begins to take over, and it looks like we’re ready for Evil Dead 2 style antics. Plus, now that we know who at least two of the three (!) killers are, we’re sure to find out more of the reasons and backstories. The plot thickens… like blood in Hester’s blood pies.
