Earlier this month we found out that production on the long-awaited Super Troopers 2 had finally been completed.
This of course meant that we would be seeing the first trailer for the sequel soon, and this week, that soon became right meow. A first teaser trailer for the movie has indeed been launched, and as an added bonus, if you missed it, an official release date was also set recently.

From the Broken Lizard website:
The Super Troopers 2 release date has been set: 4.20.2018. For some reason the studio was high on that date. We’re excited. Now you have plenty of time to clear your schedule, assemble your buddies and pre-game before that first midnight screening.
Now, time to release some “Save the Date” footage. We’re proud to share with you the first teaser trailer for Super Troopers 2.
Don’t worry, like many previews do, we aren’t revealing all the jokes from the movie. Down the road, we’ll release a more proper, full-length trailer that does that. For now… Enjoy!
Thanks for your support,
Broken Lizard

Fair warning: the teaser is a red bander, so, depending on your place of employment, you may want to save for later.
Trailer
Everyone’s favorite cops are back (by popular demand) with the long anticipated follow up to the cult comedy classic: Super Troopers 2. When the United States and Canada get into a dispute about the location of the actual border, the Super Troopers – Mac, Thorny, Foster, Rabbit and Farva – are called in to set up a new Highway Patrol station in the contested area. Our heroes quickly revert to their own brand of unconventional police work.
