Amazon has released another clip from their new horror anthology series Lore, which is based on Aaron Mahnke‘s podcast of the same name.

The new clip is titled “Saved by the Bell,” and dives into a time in history when measures were taken to ensure that anyone who was accidentally buried alive could still get out.

ABOUT THE PODCAST

Winner of the iTunes “Best of 2015” & “Best of 2016” Awards
Winner of the “Best History Podcast 2016” by Podcast Academy

Lore is an award-winning, critically-acclaimed podcast about true life scary stories. Our fears have roots. Lore exposes the darker side of history, exploring the creatures, people, and places of our wildest nightmares.

Because sometimes the truth is more frightening than fiction.

Each episode examines a new dark historical tale in a modern campfire experience. With over 6,300 5-star reviews on Apple Podcasts and an average of 6-million monthly listens, that’s clearly a good thing.

New episodes are released every two weeks, on Mondays.

ABOUT THE TELEVISION SHOW

Yes, Lore is on its way to the small screen! While the process began just 6 months after Lore was launched, the news didn’t go public until April 2016. Aaron is working with two powerhouse companies to make it happen: Propogate Content (with former NatGeo head Howard T. Owens and former NBC head Ben Silverman), and Valhalla Entertainment, the producer behind The Walking Dead.

In October of 2016 it was announced that the series has been picked up by Amazon Studios, and a full season has been ordered. Also revealed, Glen Morgan (legendary X-Files writer and producer) has joined the team as showrunner. The expected premiere in the Fall of 2017.

The show is available to watch on Amazon now.
