| ‘Rick and Morty’ Intro Re-Created In 8-Bit (Video)
There was a time where pretty much every movie or TV show you could think of was getting the 8-bit treatment. You can see a handful of them right here. But they don’t seem to pop up quite as often as they used to these days. One that has been released this week is a re-creation of the Rick and Morty intro. It’s short, but still fun to watch if you’re a fan of the animated show. It also makes me want a Rick and Morty side-scroller game, which is usually the case after watching videos like this. Click on over to the other side to check it out.

It’s pretty clear when Star Wars Rebels and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story takes place, but even though we knew what was going to happen in the latter, no one could have ever expected it to play out the way it did. So how Rebels will eventually tie together with Rogue One is unclear. One thing is for sure, we will be seeing Rogue One cameos in Rebels just as we saw Rebels cameos in Rogue One. Until that time happens, we’ll just have to wait for season 3’s story to conclude. With the way things ended during the winter finale, fans are anxious to see what happens to Ezra and the rest of the Ghost crew. And Disney has released a new trailer giving us a look at what is to come. Check it out below.

| Geek Peek: ‘Rick and Morty’ Season 3 (Video) |

The first season of the brilliant animated comedy Rick and Morty ended in April of 2014, with season two kicking off a little over a year later in July of 2015. If you thought season three of the show would arrive much faster than season two did given the show’s wildfire popularity, you clearly didn’t listen to Mr. Poopybutthole. At the end of the tremendous season two finale, Mr. Poopybutthole said it would be a year and a half…or longer…before a new season arrived. And that’s looking more and more likely. Season two came to a close in October of 2015, leaving us just a few months short of Mr. Poopybutthole’s estimation with no official premiere date announced yet. The point of all of this is: we should all take our friend Mr. Poopybutthole more seriously. If you’ve never seen an episode of Rick and Morty before, you are no doubt immensely confused at this moment. But that’s OK! While we await word on when season three will be kicking off, a semi-peek at the new season has surfaced. It’s not much, and it’s not even completed footage, but it is something to hold us over. You can check it out below.
