DreamWorks Animation Releases Cast Line-Up
Into the Wild of ‘Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa’

DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. and Paramount Pictures Corporation today announced a stellar cast line-up for DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming comedy, “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa,” which is slated for a November 7, 2008 theatrical release. “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa” is the sequel to the studio’s hit, “Madagascar” which grossed over $532 million in worldwide box office and became the number one animated film of 2005.

The original cast from “Madagascar,” including Ben Stiller as Alex the lion, Chris Rock as Marty the zebra, David Schwimmer as Melman the giraffe, Jada Pinkett Smith as Gloria the hippo, Sacha Baron Cohen as King Julien the lemur king, Cedric The Entertainer as Maurice, Julien’s advisor and Andy Richter as Mort the chimp will reprise their roles in “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa.” Joining the Central Park zoosters for their continuing adventures in Africa is an all new ensemble, including Bernie Mac (The Bernie Mac Show) as Zuba, Alex’s dad and head of the pride, Sherri Shepherd (The View) as Alex’s Mom, Alec Baldwin (30 Rock) as Makunga, a challenger to Zuba and Will.i.am (The Black Eyed Peas) as Moto Moto, a watering hole lothario.

Cape Canaveral, Fla., · May 29, 2008 / “” It’s a dream come true for Buzz Lightyear as Disney Parks and NASA send the 12-inch-tall action figure “to infinity and beyond!” Buzz Lightyear will blast off aboard Space Shuttle Discovery on mission STS-124. Liftoff from Kennedy Space Center is scheduled for 5:02 p.m. ET on May 31.

Buzz’s dream of going “to infinity and beyond” will finally come true during the mission when — with the help of the crew — he will fly in zero gravity inside the International Space Station as part of NASA’s “Toys in Space” initiative. Through this program, Buzz will help introduce fun elements from space into science and math classrooms across the country.

Summer getaways with the B.P.R.D.

With Hellboy II: The Golden Army coming in July, there’s no better time to get up to speed on what’s happening with the characters in the B.P.R.D. Dark Horse will be releasing three new B.P.R.D. titles by Mike Mignola and B.P.R.D. vet John Arcudi into the Hellboy Universe for summer reading pleasure — with new revelations for Liz Sherman and the origin story for Johann Kraus, as well as a bit of backstory for the Bureau’s battle with the infamous frog creatures.

June 5th will see the first installment of War on Frogs — a series of four one-shots that pick up from the March-April B.P.R.D. feature on MySpace Dark Horse Presents. Renowned artist Herb Trimpe (The Incredible Hulk) joins regular B.P.R.D. writer John Arcudi and Hellboy creator Mike Mignola, with Guy Davis handling the inking, for the first one-shot story in this series that will feature a different legendary comics artist for each issue.
