| Zack Snyder Will Direct ‘Justice League’ After ‘Batman Vs. Superman’The Man Of Steel sequel tentatively titled Batman Vs. Superman isn’t due out in theaters for another two years, and will open up against Captain America 3. But Warner Bros remains undeterred by the huge success that Marvel is currently experiencing, as they have announced the next phase of their DC Comics Cinematic Universe by naming Zack Snyder as the director of Justice League. Warner Bros. president of worldwide production Greg Silverman said that the studio has set plans to make a Justice League movie, and confirmed the news to The Wall Street Journal. Ray Fisher, who was recently cast as Victor Stone/Cyborg, joins Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, who play Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, respectively, in Batman Vs. Superman, with production set to begin next month.

| ‘Batman vs. Superman’ Adds Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey, and Tao OkamotoThough the tentatively titled Batman vs. Superman was pushed back an entire year from its original release date, director Zack Snyder and WB are still working hard to build a great cast. Today they have added Oscar-winning actress Holly Hunter, 300: Rise of an Empire‘s Callan Mulvery, and Captain America: The First Avenger‘s Tao Okamoto. Deadline reports that the roles have not been specified but they do not have comic book origins, instead these roles have been specifically created for the film itself.

The list, consisting of Captain Marvel, Martian Manhunter, Lobo, Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, Guy Gardner, Supergirl, Zatana, and Gorilla Grodd, is sure to be met with mixed emotions from fans. So I was thinking that if we get these other guys in here too, we can skip making a whole bunch of movies and just go into Justice League next year. I mean, you know who these guys are from the comics. You don’t need a whole movie per guy. Why carry your eggs in several baskets when you just cram ’em all into one really awesome basket?”
