‘Wonder Woman 1984’: Pedro Pascal To Play Villainous Businessman Maxwell Lord

News on director Patty Jenkins‘ Wonder Woman 1984, one again starring Gal Gadot in the title role, has been low ever since it ended production and had a tiny preview at CinemaCon. Though very little is known about the upcoming sequel, we know that it will take audiences back to a different time period and see Wonder Woman go up against Cheetah (Kristen Wiig) at the height of the Cold War. There are other characters to consider, as well. Chris Pine returns as Steve Trevor, and Connie Nielsen reprises her role as Hippolyta. And now we are learning about the character Pedro Pascal is playing.
It has been confirmed that Pascal will be playing Maxwell Lord, a villainous businessman with telepathic persuasion powers. More on the report below.

Patty Jenkins Teases A Contemporary Setting For ‘Wonder Woman 3’

Director Patty Jenkins‘ sequel Wonder Woman 1984, starring Gal Gadot is easily one of the most anticipated films of next year. The sequel is apparently so massive that it had to be pushed back from its November 2019 release all the way to summer 2020. But it is never too early to talk about the inevitable third installment of the franchise.
Given its success and the worldwide appeal the character has, it would be a huge surprise if there isn’t a Wonder Woman 3. And Jenkins isn’t exactly shy to talk about what we could see in it. Nor is she afraid to talk about fan requests for her to direct a Justice League film. More on all of that below.

‘Ralph Breaks The Internet’ Video: Watch Vanellope Sing “A Place Called Slaughter Race” In Its Entirety

Among one of the best things about Ralph Breaks The Internet is when Princess Vanellope (Sarah Silverman) sings “A Place Called Slaughter Race.” It is a hilarious satire on Disney songs where a princess has their own musical moments and expresses their search for what they truly desire through song. The self-deprecating sequence pokes fun at how these princesses break into song spontaneously and is set against the grimy and deadly world of the racing game Slaughter Race.
Now fans of that song can now experience it in all its fun and silly glory with the newly released “A Place Called Slaughter Race” music video. Check it out below.

Top 5 Things We Learned At The ‘Ralph Breaks The Internet’ Press Conference

Disney’s Ralph Breaks the Internet takes its titular character (John C. Reilly) and Vanellope Von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) out of Mr. Litwak’s arcade and inserts them into the world of the Internet where they will have an adventure of a lifetime while also meeting new friends like Yesss (Taraji P Henson) and Shank (Gal Gadot).
We and our fellow journalists were recently invited to attend the press conference for the sequel, which is directed by Phil Johnston and Rich Moore from a screenplay penned by Johnston and Pamela Ribon. While there, we learned a few more things about Ralph Breaks the Internet including Vanellope’s own princess song, the recording process, a possible sequel, and so much more. Check it all out, below.

Wreck-It Ralph saw Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) as a pair of lovable arcade sprite misfits in an animated film about acceptance, identity, and self-worth. The film is that perfect blend of humor and heart supported by terrific animation and video game nostalgia. It’s been six years since we last saw the two in a film whose ending seemed perfect. Now we are getting a sequel. Don’t worry, it’s not about Ralph and Vanellope causing trouble in the arcade. No, this time the two go to the Internet in Ralph Breaks the Internet, a play on the very popular phrase when something goes viral. While not as strong as the first, the film goes far beyond humoring with all too easy Internet tropes and gags.
There’s plenty of emotional depth and some surprises that will have you wanting more. However, the pacing and editing are just some of the issues that slow things down. But it’s not enough to ruin what is a fun sequel. Check out my full review below.

‘Ralph Breaks The Internet’ Clip Introduces KnowsMore Voiced By Alan Tudyk

There are only a few more weeks left until Disney releases Ralph Breaks the Internet, the sequel to Wreck-It Ralph. The film will see the return of Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman), two arcade sprites who venture to the Internet in search of a replacement part for Sugar Rush, Vanellope’s game.
Along the way they will run into technological advancements they’ve never seen before like social media, algorithms, and the dreaded auto fill search bar. Disney has released a brand new clip featuring the two running into KnowsMore, a bit of an outdated version of the auto fill. Think AskJeeves. Additionally, there is a Happy Birthday Internet video for this Internet Day. Check them both out below.

‘Ralph Breaks The Internet’ Crew Talks Changing The Game, The Internet, And Addressing Online Bullying
|
 |

Ralph Breaks the Internet is the Disney Animation Studio sequel to 2012’s Wreck-It Ralph. In it, Ralph (John C. Reilly) must venture to a world where no arcade game sprite has been before, the Internet. With the help of the always energetic Vanellope (Sarah Silverman), the two must search for a rare Sugar Rush game replacement part or risk losing the machine, entirely. Along their journey, they will come across new technological advances like Yesss (Taraji P. Henson), an algorithm that determines what’s popular. But the Internet is so much bigger than they originally thought, and they will be thrust into a larger than life world that may or may not survive Ralph’s wrecking.
We got a chance to join our fellow journalists to talk to directors Rich Moore and Phil Johnston, and producer Clark Spencer. During the Q&A portion of the early preview, they talked about some of the inspiration behind the film, Ralph and Vanellope’s new journey, and what obstacles they must overcome. There may be some slight spoilers ahead, but nothing too revealing. Check out what they had to say below.
