Walt Disney Studios has released the first trailer for Jungle Cruise, the upcoming featuring starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt which is inspired by the Disney river boat theme park attraction of the same name. The movie is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, with Edgar Ramirez, Jack Whitehall, Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti joining Blunt and Johnson on the cast. | Netflix Acquires ‘Red Notice’ Starring Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds
Netflix has announced that they have acquired a movie titled Red Notice, which comes from Dwayne Johnson and Rawson Marshall Thurber. The pair has worked together twice in recent years on Central Intelligence and Skyscraper. Johnson stars and produces the feature, while Thurber writes, directs, and produces. Also set to star is Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds. The movie is described as a “globetrotting action-thriller” in which Johnson plays an agent who has been tasked with pursuing the world’s most wanted art thief.

After going through numerous script drafts, Paramount believes that Horrible Bosses director Seth Gordon is the right person to helm the adaptation of the beach-based drama action television series that aired 242 episodes and was on air for 11 seasons. But rather than have the series star David Hassseloff make the slow-motion run on the beach to make a lifesaving rescue, it looks like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be the one to take his place and lead his team of bikini-clad lifeguards who patrol the sunny sandy beaches of Los Angeles, California. | Dwayne Johnson To Star In ‘Rampage’ Based On Classic Arcade Game
Earlier this month we found out that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was set to star in a remake of John Carpenter’s Big Trouble in Little China. Now comes word that Johnson will also be starring in Rampage, a movie adaptation of the classic arcade game of the same name. Exact plot details for the movie haven’t been shared yet, but the game sees you wreaking havoc on a city as one of three monsters—a very King Kong-like gorilla, a very Godzilla-like lizard, and a giant werewolf—so you can probably get a decent idea of where they’re going with it just based on that.
