Battlefield V

Last month we got our first peek at the next game in the Battlefield series, Battlefield V, with a reveal trailer.

‘Battlefield V’ Reveal Trailer Takes The Series To World War II

Battlefield V

A live event was held yesterday to introduce Battlefield V, the latest game in the shooter series developed by DICE and published by EA, and a reveal trailer for the game has been released.

After a string of modern games, the series went back to World War I in the previous entry, Battlefield 1. In the latest installment, the series—much like Call of Duty did last year with Call of Duty WWII—goes back to its World War II roots.

Battlefield 1 Gameplay Trailer

A new Gamescom gameplay trailer has been released for the World War I first-person shooter Battlefield 1. You can also check out the first gameplay trailer we saw from E3 2016 if you missed it.

The new gameplay trailer shows lots and lots of epic desert-set battling with guns, planes, tanks, horses, and more, all set to Johnny Cash’s “God’s Gonna Cut You Down.” Click on over to the other side now to read more about the game and watch the new trailer.

Wait, What? $130 ‘Battlefield 1’ Collector’s Edition Doesn’t Include Game

You might think that you’ve seen it all with video games. Especially in the last handful of years with unpopular trends popping up left and right. Then this slaps your eyes.

Collector’s editions of video games are a great way for people who are fully sold on an upcoming release to acquire some added goodies for a little bit more coin. Usually these come with collectible replicas of items found in the game, statues, and various other things. Oh yeah, and the game itself! Obviously. But a new Amazon exclusive Battlefield 1 collector’s edition is changing this up a bit. It’ll cost you $130 ($104 if you’re a Prime member), and does come with the aforementioned collectible goodies. What it does not come with, however, is the freakin’ game.

To close out their EA Play event, Electronic Arts showed off the latest in one of their biggest franchises, titled Battlefield 1.

While the Call of Duty franchise keeps going into the future—something that has not been all that popular with players—developer DICE is taking the Battlefield franchise way, way back with the game set in World War I. A gameplay trailer for the new game was shown.
