Kickstarter is a great place to help launch projects and maybe even the careers of aspiring filmmakers. USC Film School Graduate Cody Lawrence is just one of those people, who is using the crowdfunding site to help kickstart his own career in the filmmaking business, and you can help fund his film by donating to his Kickstarting campaign for his independent short film Spectrographs and Soliloquies.

Lawrence describes his film as a light sci-fier an astronomer who ignores the ones he loves because he is obsessed with an anomaly approaching Earth. As his life begins to fall apart he sets off to repair the damages to the relationships he holds dear. As with all Kickstarter campaigns, there are fun incentives if you help fund the project.
