| E3 2011: Zombie Killing Chaos In New ‘Dead Island’ Trailer & Gameplay Demo |

Not too long ago a game set during a zombie outbreak called Dead Island took the online world by storm when a hauntingly beautiful cinematic trailer arrived online. That trailer alone almost sold most of us on wanting to play the game from Techland, the team behind westerns Call of Juarez and Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, but we would all need to see some solid gameplay to really commit. If you haven’t noticed yet this has been a pretty gameplay-friendly E3 convention, showing off a lot of the games we’ve known were coming. So of course we were going to finally get a good long look at Dead Island and what it’s bringing to the table. In fact, it was just before E3 that the first extensive look at the gameplay was released, so we’re a little behind the times. You can head below to see the new Dead Island trailer, followed by a lengthy demonstration of how the game works, how the gameplay looks, and how you’ll go about slaughtering an endless supply of zombie attackers. Be warned: lots of gore and naughty words await you.

| Video: ‘Shaun Of The Dead’ Gets The ‘Dead Island’ Treatment |

Dead Island has been quite the hot topic over the course of the past week. It started with an incredible cinematic trailer for the zombie game that wowed the masses, followed by news that the rights to make a movie based on it had been acquired, which was then immediately shot down as untrue. With all of that attention, it should come as no shock that people are beginning to make their own video tributes to Dead Island and zombies in general. One such video takes the music and general concept behind the Dead Island trailer, and applies it to the end scenes of zombie classic, Shaun of the Dead. Made by Dan Bull, the video has gained much favor and even star Simon Pegg has sung his praise. You can see the video by clicking on over to the other side now, but be warned: if you’ve not seen Shaun of the Dead, many spoilers will be seen. Also: if you haven’t seen Shaun of the Dead, what the hell is wrong with you? It’s the greatest zombie movie ever, and you need to get on that immediately.

| Must Watch: Haunting Trailer For Zombie Video Game ‘Dead Island’ Will Leave You Speechless |

A new video game trailer has hit the web, and it has a lot of people buzzing. The trailer is for a game called Dead Island, and it’s about zombies. It’s developed by Techland, the team behind two personal favorites of mine: Call of Juarez and Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood. The game has been in development for multiple years now, but with the release of this new trailer, Dead Island is officially on the radars of gamers everywhere. Every once in a while a trailer really stands out for one reason or another, and this is one of those times. It’s a cinematic, so no actual gameplay is shown, but it’s presented in an almost Memento-esque short story format. It also hits an extremely dark point that very few others would have the nerves to showcase, and it’s this point that is all but guaranteed to strike an emotional chord with you the viewer. You can see the new cinematic trailer for Dead Island by heading below now. You can also find a few new screenshots from the game as well.
