| Trailer For Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Trollhunters’ Season 2; Begins ‘Tales Of Arcadia’ Trilogy
Netflix has released a trailer for season two of the animated series Trollhunters, which is presented by Pan’s Labyrinth and The Shape of Water director Guillermo del Toro and DreamWorks Animation. But it’s not your basic TV show second season. Things are getting shaken up in the Trollhunters universe. It’s been announced that the new season will actually be the start of a new trilogy titled Tales of Arcadia. The trilogy will continue with 3 Below, which introduces aliens as two teenagers from another planet end up here on Earth and must try to blend in as they figure out how to repair their ship. Finally, Wizards will close the trilogy and bring the three stories together. Below you can find the trailer and a clip from Trollhunters Part 2, as well as quotes from del Toro.

| ‘Trollhunters’: Trailer and Featurette For Guillermo del Toro’s Animated Netflix Series
The animated Trollhunters project from Guillermo del Toro has been in the works for quite some time now. It began as a movie project set up at Disney way back in 2009—when del Toro was still attached to direct a then two-part adaptation of The Hobbit. In 2010 the movie moved over to DreamWorks Animation, where it remains to this day. However, it was eventually changed from a movie into an animated series coming to Netflix. The series arrives on Netflix next week, and a new trailer and featurette have been released. The trailer does what trailers do, while the featurette includes some words from del Toro and cast Kelsey Grammer (Frasier), Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Charlie Saxton (Betas), and Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead). | NYCC 2016: ‘Trollhunters’ Interview With Steven Yeun & Charlie Saxton
Trollhunters, the upcoming animated series from Netflix and DreamWorks Animations, had a big presence at this year’s New York Comic-Con this weekend. The trailer and poster were revealed at a panel for the series, which launches on Netflix this December, and I got a chance to participate in roundtable press interviews with several members of the voice cast, as well as executive producer Guillermo Del Toro, who co-wrote the book upon which the series is based. Up first were voice actors Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead) and Charlie Saxton (Betas). Check out the roundtable interview here below.

Guillermo Del Toro is an executive producer on new television series, which is based on the novel he wrote with Daniel Kraus.
