It doesn’t sound like we will be looking for more Fantastic Beasts in the sequel. Instead, fans will be looking at the crimes of Grindelwald (Johnny Depp). That’s because the official title of the sequel to the Harry Potter prequel is Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. And to commemorate the title’s announcement, Warner Bros. has released the first official look at the cast, including our first look at Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore. Check out the image below.

| Jude Law To Play Dumbledore In ‘Fantastic Beasts 2’
Albus Dumbledore is a fixture in the Harry Potter mythology but was only mentioned by name in the prequel Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. However, the character was bound to show up given his relationship with Grindelwald (Johnny Depp). Now we know who will be playing him in Fantastic Beasts 2. | ‘Fantastic Beasts’ Star Eddie Redmayne Passionately Defends ‘Harry Potter’ House Hufflepuff
When it comes to the Harry Potter franchise’s four Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry houses, most of the attention goes to Gryffindor and Slytherin. Fellow houses Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw always seem to take a backseat to the main two. But the first movie in the Harry Potter spinoff series Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in theaters today, and star Eddie Redmayne is having none of this second-rate house nonsense. The actor made a public service announcement video recently, in which he passionately defends the Hufflepuff name, even using a couple of naughty words which would no doubt make Fat Friar blush. Release Date: November 28, 2016 Though the adventures of Harry Potter may have come to an end, J.K. Rowling’s legacy lives on. Now fans will be getting at five new spinoffs that expand the Harry Potter universe starting with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a prequel that is set decades before the events of the phenomenon that started it all. While I wasn’t a fan of the original books and never really got into the films themselves, Fantastic Beasts is whimsical and fun, and manages to address a few relevant themes that affect us all. One thing is for sure, it will give anyone without any prior knowledge of the books or films a reason to look at why Harry Potter has remained popular all these years.
