Air Date: Saturday, April 16th, 2016, 9:00pm Last week during the premiere of Outlander season 2, Claire (Caitriona Balfe) went back through the stones of Craig na Dun a few years later than she left – in 1948. Frank (Tobias Menzies) was thrilled to have her back, although that is dampened once she told him the whole crazy story, and that she is pregnant with Jamie’s child. He still wanted to be with her and raise the child as his own. The episode then transitioned to the Frasers arrival in France, and Claire mucking it up with her feminism, which Jamie (Sam Heughan) treasures. She declared a member of a ship’s crew dying of smallpox, which made a rich and angry Comte’s ship have to burn. He vowed revenge. Jamie’s cousin Jared (Robert Cavanah) left Jamie his house and business to run while he went away. The Frasers are planning to stop the Jacobite rebellion, thus stopping the massacre at Culloden. Spoilers below.

Air Date: Saturday, May 30th, 2015, 9:00pm It is the season 1 finale of Outlander, the epic tale of Claire Elizabeth Beauchamp Randall Fraser (Caitriona Balfe) and James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser (Sam Heughan). Outlander, based on the Diana Galbadon series, really translated from the page to the screen, in ways that went beyond any expectations. Sing me a song of a lass that is gone,
Say, could that lass be I
Merry of soul she sailed on a day
Over the sea to Skye
Starz was really smart in grabbing this series. There’s tons more material, and these two leads are perfect. Do not continue if you have not watched the finale. There are spoilers!

Air Date: Saturday, May 16th, 2015, 9:00pm On last week’s Outlander, Jenny (Laura Donnelly) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) set out to rescue Jaime (Sam Heughan). They find the Redcoat camp, but no Jaime! Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix) comes along and tags out Jenny. She has GOT to get back to her baby (see last week’s breast milk expression Emmy wish). I was kinda pissed that nobody even attempted to rescue MacQuarrie (Douglas Henshall). He ended up being an all right guy. Murtagh and Claire started a traveling act, dancing and singing to ferret out Jaime. Even though a gypsy act stole their song, they did get word. That word ended up being Dougal (Graham McTavish), who only agreed to help if Claire agreed to marry him upon failure. Claire, to everybody’s surprise, agreed.
