Last week on Outlander, our favorite couple were broken and lost to each other for a while, as Claire (Caitriona Balfe) lost baby “Faith,” and Jamie (Sam Heughan) rotted in the Bastille for dueling with Blackjack Randall (Tobias Menzies). She thought Jamie had betrayed her, but there was more to it than that. Randall had attacked Fergus (Romann Berrux) which made Jamie lose it. Claire went to King Louis (Lionel Lingelser) for Jamie’s freedom. He made her pass judgment between Master Raymond and the Comte St. Germain (Dominique Pinon and Stanley Weber). She tried to save both of them, even though the Comte admitted to trying to poison her, but Master Raymond slipped real poison in and the Comte died. The King also made Claire have sex with him as payment, but freed Jamie and arranged for them to be able to go back to Scotland. Jamie returned home, and now they both will go home to Scotland together.

Last week on Outlander, Jamie (Sam Heughan) finally told Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix) the whole crazy time-traveling story, after he got angry about the duel being called off. Claire (Caitriona Balfe) went to warn Master Raymond (Dominique Pinon) about the king gunning for practitioners of the dark arts. They set up fake smallpox at the Comte’s (Stanley Weber) ship, and even had Murtagh play bandit when that did not work. Jamie went to duel with Randall (Tobias Menzies), which resulted in Claire screaming, bleeding, and fainting, Jamie sticking a sword in Randall’s groin, and both men arrested.

Last week on Outlander, Claire (Caitriona Balfe) interfered with Mary Hawkins and Alex Randall (Rosie Day and Laurence Dobiesz), by convincing Alex to leave the girl. Prince Charles (Andrew Gower) came up with another scheme to get the money, and it involved partnering Jamie (Sam Heughan) with the Comte (Stanley Weber). Claire ran into BlackJack Randall (Tobias Menzies) at Versailles, and they exchanged hostile pleasantries after the shock. The King (Lionel Lingelser) showed up and humiliated Randall to the delight of Jamie, who strolled up just in time. Last week on Outlander, Claire (Caitriona Balfe) became sick but was meant to die. Master Raymond (Dominique Pinon) gave her a stone that can detect poison. The Frasers bring their cat and mouse game home, as they plan a dinner party to make political moves. On the way home, Claire, Murtagh, and Mary (Balfe, Duncan Lacroix, and Rosie Day) are attacked, and poor Mary is raped.
