Air Date: Saturday, May 21st, 2016, 9:00pm Last week on Outlander, Jamie (Sam Heughan) finally told Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix) the whole crazy time-traveling story, after he got angry about the duel being called off. Claire (Caitriona Balfe) went to warn Master Raymond (Dominique Pinon) about the king gunning for practitioners of the dark arts. They set up fake smallpox at the Comte’s (Stanley Weber) ship, and even had Murtagh play bandit when that did not work. Jamie went to duel with Randall (Tobias Menzies), which resulted in Claire screaming, bleeding, and fainting, Jamie sticking a sword in Randall’s groin, and both men arrested. Spoilers below.

Air Date: Saturday, May 14th, 2016, 9:00pm Last week on Outlander, Claire (Caitriona Balfe) interfered with Mary Hawkins and Alex Randall (Rosie Day and Laurence Dobiesz), by convincing Alex to leave the girl. Prince Charles (Andrew Gower) came up with another scheme to get the money, and it involved partnering Jamie (Sam Heughan) with the Comte (Stanley Weber). Claire ran into BlackJack Randall (Tobias Menzies) at Versailles, and they exchanged hostile pleasantries after the shock. The King (Lionel Lingelser) showed up and humiliated Randall to the delight of Jamie, who strolled up just in time. After the king and entourage leave, Jamie set a time to duel with Randall, and then fought about it with Claire later. He angrily agreed to not kill him for Frank. Spoilers below.

They traveled to the court of Louis XV (Lionel Lingelser), where Jamie and Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix) were lucky enough to watch a constipated king on his chamberpot, and offer advice. Claire got her feet kissed by the Minister of Finance. The Duke of Sandringham (Simon Callow) showed up with Alex Randall (Laurence Dobiesz), BlackJack’s little brother in tow. Air Date: Saturday, April 16th, 2016, 9:00pm Last week during the premiere of Outlander season 2, Claire (Caitriona Balfe) went back through the stones of Craig na Dun a few years later than she left – in 1948. Frank (Tobias Menzies) was thrilled to have her back, although that is dampened once she told him the whole crazy story, and that she is pregnant with Jamie’s child. He still wanted to be with her and raise the child as his own. The episode then transitioned to the Frasers arrival in France, and Claire mucking it up with her feminism, which Jamie (Sam Heughan) treasures. She declared a member of a ship’s crew dying of smallpox, which made a rich and angry Comte’s ship have to burn. He vowed revenge. Jamie’s cousin Jared (Robert Cavanah) left Jamie his house and business to run while he went away. The Frasers are planning to stop the Jacobite rebellion, thus stopping the massacre at Culloden. She a 1940s war nurse, happily married to her historian husband, Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies) on a trip to Scotland. There, some mysterious stones suck Claire into 1743, where she is almost captured by Black Jack Randall, Frank’s sinister distant relation, and is saved by Jamie Fraser, whom she nurses back to health.Claire must now learn a simpler way of life, plus marry Jamie for protection. They fall completely in love. Jamie saves Claire from being burned as a witch, and Claire rescues Jamie from rape and torture at Wentworth prison (although a bit late to prevent that) at the hands of Randall. Wanted, they set sail for new beginnings (and to prevent Culloden), soon to be a family of three. Spoilers below.
