The $10 t-shirt deal of the day over at RIPT Apparel is the Star Wars-themed shirt called “There is No Try” by Shifty303.

The sale at RIPT began today, Monday, January 9, 2012, at midnight CST, and will continue for 24 hours from then, and once it’s over, it will not be sold on the site anymore.

During a recent census in the Czech Republic, 15,070 people stated that they were members of the Knights of the Jedi religion, based, of course, on the Star Wars universe created by George Lucas.

While still a small number in comparison to others (over 1 million checked off Catholicism and over half of the country chose not to answer the question) it’s still intriguing to see that number of people who feel that a religion based on something we all know to be fictional is a better choice for their lifestyles than one of the other more conventional religions.

Back in August, YouTube user FinalCutKing released a video called Jedi Kittens, a very short clip of two wonderfully adorable kittens having themselves a lightsaber fight.

That video was only a brief 16 seconds long, but the kitties have returned in a much longer sequel titled Jedi Kittens Strike Back, which sees them having a good ol’ Star Wars dogfight before both of their ships go down and the ‘sabers come out yet again!

The design mashes up Star Wars with the alcohol Jägermeister, placing Jedi Master Yoda in the center of the liquor bottle logo.
