Jimmy Fallon and the Muppets on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon made his last appearance last night as host of Late Night, the NBC late-night talk show he’s hosted since 2009. As his final send-off on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, the 39-year-old Fallon performed with The Muppets doing The Band’s Last Waltz version of “The Weight.”

Check out the video of the performance here below.

Fallon now moves on to his new gig as host of NBC’s The Tonight Show, taking over for the departing Jay Leno, while fellow SNL alumn Seth Meyers heads to the helm of Late Night starting February 24, 2014.

Jimmy Fallon Alec Baldwin 80's Cop Show Skit

Alec Baldwin made an appearance this week on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to promote his latest project, the documentary Seduced and Abandoned. While on the program, host Jimmy Fallon reminisced with Baldwin about their supposed days starring in an 80’s cop show called Point Pleasant Police Department where the duo played a pair of New Jersey cops. Fallon then goes on to “roll clips” from the show, which turns out to be messy and hilarious.

Watch the video of the scenes here below.

If you remember Fallon from his days on Saturday Night Live, then you know that some of his funniest stuff was when he had trouble keeping in character. With the way the “Point Pleasant Police Department” sketches were set up, there was no way Fallon was going to make it through it all without laughing. Kudos to Baldwin, who somehow managed to keep it together through this the silliness.

Jimmy Fallon Challenges Keanu Reeves To Tai Chi Fight

Keanu Reeves was recently on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon promoting his directorial debut, Man Of Tai Chi, in which he also stars as the villain.

First off, after Fallon introduced the actor, The Roots (the late night show’s house band), played Orleans’ “Still The One” as a nod to his character Neo from The Matrix. Reeves seemed amused and possibly surprised by this intro.

Reeves went on to discuss his new film, which was shown at a few of this year’s film festivals and is currently available On Demand. The movie involves underground fighting using a style of Tai Chi, with one fight scene involving a neck tie. Fallon said he came up with a way to defend himself in a battle like that, so he asked Reeves to attack him.

Check out the video here below of the interview and the “fight” scene.

Ben Affleck Talks Batman Casting On Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Ben Affleck has been mum ever since the news broke last month that he’d be playing Batman in Zack Snyder’s sequel to this summer’s Man Of Steel, the tentatively titled Batman vs Superman.

But tonight’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Affleck finally broke his silence to host Jimmy Fallon about being cast as the Caped Crusader and how he faced the fan reaction.

Watch the video here below.

One of the most interesting things Affleck mentions is that Warner Bros. tried to prepare him for fan backlash to his casting by showing him previous harsh reactions to other Batman movie castings. They also told him to stay off the Internet for a few days post-announcement, but, as you’ll find out from the interview, the actor did not heed their warning.

Jimmy Fallon

On last night’s Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, the late-night talk show host performed “Jeremy (Lin),” a parody of Pearl Jam’s “Jeremy” with reworked lyrics centering on the current “Linsanity” surrounding NY Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin.

Jimmy Fallon put aside his usual suit and tie to don a wig and grunge attire to do his best impression of Pearl Jam’s frontman Eddie Veddar, while singing of Lin’s recent achievements as well as his early days before his name was a pun.

Watch the video here below.
