Jimmy Fallon and the Muppets on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon made his last appearance last night as host of Late Night, the NBC late-night talk show he’s hosted since 2009. As his final send-off on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, the 39-year-old Fallon performed with The Muppets doing The Band’s Last Waltz version of “The Weight.”

Check out the video of the performance here below.

Fallon now moves on to his new gig as host of NBC’s The Tonight Show, taking over for the departing Jay Leno, while fellow SNL alumn Seth Meyers heads to the helm of Late Night starting February 24, 2014.

Make sure you watch the video till the end where Fallon goes into the welcoming arms of his new home at The Tonight Show at Studio 8G at 30 Rockefeller Plaza (Late Night is filmed in the building’s Studio 6A). Fallon’s start on what’s now called The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is February 17, 2014.
