
Not a lot of news out of the Mondo Marvel panel at the San Diego Comic-Con (most of the big news came out of Marvel’s Cup O’ Joe panel). Marvel Mondo was mostly about answering fans questions and teasing some new stuff. The panel started off with some funny screens introducing the panel guests, as Marvel always likes to have a lot of fun at their panels.
We did get some news out of it…
Rick Remender will be writing a new on-going series featuring the new Sorceror Supreme, titled Doctor Voodoo: Avenger of the Supernatural (no one asked what Doctor Voodoo has a PHD in).
Captain America/Black Panther: Flags of Our Fathers will be written by Reginald Hudlin with art by Dennis Cowel and will show what happens in the past with a meeting between Cap and the previous Black Panther.
November will bring a new attitude to the Marvel Adventures line, keeping the done in one stories, but adding more subplots and making them a bit more cohesive as a line. It will be a great jumping on point for new readers who have not checked out the more kid-friendly line.
