The promotional machine for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is up and preparing to crush the competition in the run-up to its theatrical bow next week and Entertainment Tonight, the show that once gave Cosmo Kramer seizures, has a preview of the forthcoming film. You can watch it here below.
There’s a bit of footage from the David Fincher-directed film along with interviews with stars Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara in the two-minute preview. If you’ve seen the various regular and extended trailers you won’t find anything new here. Mara discusses how she approached the character of Lisbeth Salander and Craig talks about shooting in the frigid climate of Sweden.

Columbia Pictures has released an even longer trailer for the upcoming David Fincher film The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, which you can watch here below.
The 8-minute trailer was first made available last week at iTunes when the soundtrack went up for pre-order. Despite being more than three times longer than the average trailer, the extended scenes presented in this trailer (complete with an original score composed by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross) have a nice, orderly flow to them and don’t reveal too much of the story.

Just in time for Halloween and tailor-made for us non-girly girls, Swedish retailer H&M is launching a line of clothing and accessories inspired by the newly remade The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo movie, which is based on Stieg Larsson‘s bestselling book of the same name.
Costume designer Trish Summerville (from the remake, not the original made waaaay back in 2009) designed the line for H&M in the hopes that every girl will want to look like gothy anti-social Asperger-burdened computer hacker and main character, Lisbeth Salander (portrayed in the upcoming film by Rooney Mara).
