| ‘Soul’ Trailer: Pixar’s Latest Wants To Know About Our Purpose In Life And All That Jazz
Pixar has this incredible track record of releasing films that combine great storytelling with outstanding animation. For them, it’s always about the story that takes audiences to worlds they’ve never been to. Films like Inside Out and Coco have done that. And it looks like they have done it again with Soul from director Pete Docter, which stars Jamie Foxx and Tina Fey. A teaser trailer has arrived today for the film. In it, audiences will be taken to a world where our personality and souls are developed long before we step foot on this earth. And there will be some catchy music to go along with it as globally renowned musician Jon Batiste is writing original jazz music for the film and Oscar winners Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross (The Social Network) are creating an original score. Check out the trailer below.

| D23 Expo 2019: Pixar’s ‘Soul’ Will Have Music From Jon Batiste, Score By Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross
My recent trip to Pixar was not only exciting, it was also inspirational. The studio keeps coming up with innovative ways to tell these stories in bold new ways. See more below for our on-site coverage from D23.

| David Fincher Collaborating With Trent Reznor On ‘Fight Club’ Rock Opera
The first rule of Fight Club is…you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is…you do not talk about Fight Club. But singing about Fight Club? That’s cool. Believe it or not, True Believers, David Fincher‘s hypnotically brutal and satirical cult classic of Gen X masculinity gone horribly – and hilariously – wrong is looking to become the latest cinematic masterpiece to invade the Great White Way. Fincher and Nine Inch Nails front-man (and one half of the composing team on his last three films – The Social Network, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and Gone Girl) Trent Reznor are working on a Broadway rock opera adaptation of the filmmaker’s excoriated, and later celebrated, 1999 release Fight Club.
