Watch Now: Montage Of Tom Cruise’s Best Running Scenes

Every classic movie star has their calling card: Marilyn Monroe had her skirt blown up, John Wayne swaggered, and Paul Newman had his magical baby blues.
Tom Cruise, on the other hand, just runs. Sure he has that thousand-watt “It’s good to be Cruise” smile but he doesn’t use it on screen as much these days. Time Magazine’s video editor Valerie Lapinski has assembled a montage of some of the world’s most famous Scientologist’s best on-screen running scenes.
You can watch it here below.

Watch The First 17 Minutes of ‘Raiding the Lost Ark: A Filmumentary’

Earlier in the year a fan-made documentary started making the rounds online called Star Wars Begins. Assembled out of several decades’ worth of interviews, commentaries, behind-the-scenes footage, deleted scenes, etc., Begins was the first in a trilogy of what London-based creator Jamie Benning calls “filmumentaries.” These videos covered the first three movies in George Lucas‘ landmark space adventure saga in a way that provided fans of the Star Wars trilogy and filmmaking in general with a fresh perspective on a cinematic classic. Star Wars Begins was warmly received by fans of the series and Benning followed it up with filmumentaries about The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi that were equally regarded by them as well.

Watch Now: ‘Digital Decay’ Featurette From ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 1 Special Edition Blu-ray

Timed to the upcoming second season premiere of The Walking Dead Anchor Bay Entertainment is releasing a special edition DVD set of the show’s problematic but ultimately stellar first season on Blu-ray and DVD with even more extra features than their previous release of the first season. Today the company has released a clip from one of the newly created bonus featurettes and you can watch the video below this article.
Titled “Digital Decay,” the 90-second clip takes brief look at the CGI effects created for the series, notably the additional zombies. There’s nothing revelatory in this video but it does give you a feel for the ways that digital effects are used to create a worthwhile end result.

WonderCon 2011 Video: Ryan Reynolds Talks Green Lantern, Flash & Deadpool Movies
|
 |

Star of the upcoming Green Lantern film Ryan Reynolds said he was pretty damn impressed with the footage showed off at this year’s WonderCon after being in a skin tight blue suit that didn’t breath well in Louisiana. [For details on that footage, read: WonderCon 2011: Ryan Reynolds Shows Off New ‘Green Lantern’ Footage and Watch Now: 4 Minutes Of New ‘Green Lantern’ Footage]
It was a fun panel filled with lots of banter between Reynolds and the audience. He joked with the fans about reading Green Lantern comics for inspiration, saying if he hadn’t at this point the fans would have run him out of the convention center in an angry mob — and then seemed disappointed that the crowd was slow to chant the Green Lantern oath with him, stopping midway through to reveal that the “front row just bombed it.”
“I was going to come out here and tell everyone I was cast a the lead in a new Flash movie since it’s April Fools Day,” Reynolds said, adding that he’d likely “be systematically murdered” if he played another super-character. And since he wouldn’t be playing Barry Allen, he suggested the role for Bradley Cooper, which got a mixed reaction from the crowd.

Girl Deletes Boyfriend’s World of Warcraft Characters (Rage Ensues)
Few things can drive a person to smash expensive electronics in a fit of pure and unadulterated rage. Having your girlfriend delete all your World of Warcraft level 80, geared-out characters while you run to the store for a pack of cigarettes is certainly one way to achieve this.
Such is the case with the video embedded below, which features the poor bastard’s girlfriend recording the experience while explaining her logic for deleting all those WoW characters.
“He thinks he’s going to be raiding all night, but let’s see about that,” she says in the video, and then proceeds to type out the required “D-E-L-E-T-E” confirmation before it processes the request.

TV Network Drama Gotcha Down? Watch The Oscars Online With Us!
|
 |

For those who have not heard, there is some craziness going on between Cablevision and ABC in New York. A failure to reach an agreement has lead to the pulling of tonight’s airing of the 82nd Academy Awards, leaving many customers infuriated and nowhere to watch.
Apparently they are working hard to reach an agreement, and it would be surprising if someone didn’t compromise to get this done somehow before the Oscars air, but there are options in a worst-case-scenario situation!
For those of you currently in the midst of this ridiculous network elementary school whine-fest, such as our leaders, Empress Eve and Dave3, you can now watch the LIVE Oscars telecast free and streaming thanks to the kind people at AP. [UPDATED – AP didn’t start their streaming for some reason; we’ve updated the embed with one from Ustream.]
At the moment, you can watch the red carpet stuff going on, and it all should zip right into the ceremony when the action begins.
Walk your own carpet (of whichever color you wish) on over to the other side to watch the live stream right now. And many thanks to AP for stepping up while these massive companies run by toddlers throw Legos at each other.
