| ‘Beyond Good and Evil 2’ : First Peek At Gameplay and More (Videos) |
 |

Perhaps the best moment of E3 2017 came after the reveal of the latest trailer for the long-awaited sequel Beyond Good and Evil 2—which was itself one of the best things we saw out of this year’s E3 convention. After the trailer was shown Michel Ancel, the creator and director of the incredible 2003 original (as well as the creator of the Rayman series), walked out to the stage accompanied by narrative director Gabrielle Shrager. Ancel has been fighting to make this game for so long (over a decade now—parts of it have been built in the past, we’ve seen trailers for it before, but it has struggled to find life), and once the new trailer had been debuted and he came out to the applauding crowd, emotions overtook him. You could see quite clearly how much it all meant to him. Since that time, more goodies related to the game have been released, including our first peek at early gameplay and more info from those hard at work on building it. You can see the video of Ancel’s emotional appearance as well as the gameplay video and more below.

Another game announced during E3 2017 this week looks like one that will mess with the ol’ brain a bit. The game is titled Transference, and it comes from Elijah Wood and his production company SpectreVision in collaboration with Ubisoft. It also features Macon Blair, who starred in Blue Ruin and Green Room, and recently directed Wood in the Netflix movie I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore. Transference is a virtual reality experience, but will also be playable on traditional platforms as well. You can read more about it and watch the announcement trailer as well as a second video about the game below.

| E3 2017: Pirate Game ‘Skull & Bones’ Trailer, Gameplay
If you love pirates and video games, you’re probably pretty excited about a game like Sea of Thieves. But as it turns out, that’s not the only pirate game on the way. During Ubisoft’s E3 2017 presentation, a game called Skull & Bones was introduced which also offers some good old pirate fun. Basically, Ubisoft took the knowledge they gained in crafting naval battles in games like Assassin’s Creed III and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and ran with it. You read more about the game and watch a cinematic trailer, a gameplay demo, and a “What You Need to Know” video below.
