Voltron: The End

Totally Rad Show, Diggnation, and former Screen Savers host Alex Albrecht is a man of many talents, director of films among them.

Today, he dropped a short film on YouTube titled Voltron: The End. The short features an older Lance (played by Timothy Omundson, who plays Detective Lassiter on the USA series Psych), pilot of the Red Lion, recovering from an accident. It is short, but sweet and a total treat for Voltron fans.

In Decemmber, Dynamite Entertainment will be bringing the story and characters from the classic animated series Voltron to comic book stores nationwide. I’m fairly certain that all of those reading this site already know what Voltron is and are already heading down to their shops to put in pre-orders.

Relativity Media Announces Live–Action ‘Voltron’ Based On ‘Defender Of The Universe’

Relativity Media has announced that they have optioned the feature film rights to Voltron from World Event Productions, and that they plan on making a live–action feature based on the popular 1984 animated series, Voltron: Defender of the Universe. The hopes are that this can turn into a big new franchise for the studio.

Charles Roven and Richard Suckle of Atlas Entertainment brought the opportunity to Relativity, and they will act as shepherds to the development of the movie.
