It wasn’t that long ago when The LEGO Movie burst into movie theaters with a million of bricks and an equal amount of laughs. What looked liked a bad idea at first turned out to be interlocking blocks of bubble gum pop and child-like nostalgia. Its success would, of course, give way for sequels and spinoffs, because that’s how successful movies work nowadays. And now we are getting a taste of that with The LEGO Batman Movie.

Sure enough, The LEGO Batman Movie proves that its predecessor was no fluke. It continues the tradition of capturing the child-like imagination of playing with these building blocks to construct a manically energized spinoff full of hilarious Batman references and self-deprecating humor. But it is also a visual bubble gum pop joy that has a heartfelt message and crazy action that can be damn near exhausting.

But at the end of the day, The LEGO Batman Movie is a pure delight that even non-Batman fans will enjoy. Check out the full review below.

The LEGO Batman Movie Gotham Cribs

We are one week away from the release of The LEGO Batman Movie, the spinoff to The LEGO Movie. Will Arnett returns to voice the Dark Knight Minifigure, who is profoundly dark and brooding. Michael Cera joins him as Robin, the Boy Wonder, while Rosario Dawson will voice Barbra Gordon, aka Batgirl.

Last week, we saw a video that took us behind the scenes of the making of the film. Now a new featurette gets into the bricks of things by taking us to the film’s setting, Gotham City – which is built by LEGO bricks, of course – for an episode of “Gotham Cribs.” Check out the video below.

When we first saw The Batman (Will Arnett) in The LEGO Movie, he was a dark and brooding superhero who did not play well with others. Worst of all, he was playing second fiddle to a nobody. However, the Dark Knight Minifigure believes that he was the reason why The LEGO Movie was such a huge success. And because of that, he is convinced that the world is ready for The LEGO Batman Movie.

A new featurette titled “Behind The Bricks” brings us closer to the characters in the upcoming film. Unlike traditional featurettes, this one interviews the actual characters as Minifigures. Check it out here below.

A Wrinkle in Time Mannequin Challenge

The mannequin challenge craze has caught the nation by storm. And while I believe that it is a popular trend that will eventually find its way out the door, film PR might as well use it to promote their movies while the trend is still hot.

In this case, everyone involved in the production and publicity for Ava DuVernay‘s A Wrinkle In Time participated in the mannequin challenge to announce the release date for the upcoming film. Check out the video below.

Between Two Ferns Zach Galifianakis Hillary Clinton

No matter which side of the political spectrum you are on, it’s always nice to see the U.S. Presidential candidates take a break from all of the seriousness to appear on comedies. Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have already been making their late-night talk-show appearances throughout the campaign, but the former stopped by for a visit on Zach GalifianakisBetween Two Ferns. This is a pretty significant moment (and by significant moment I mean that for Funny Or Die) as the very informal interview show is finally back after a long hiatus.

Those familiar with the show will recognize the brand of humor that BTF delivers as host Galifianakis is known to ask very awkward and out of date questions. And this interview with Clinton is no different from the rest. Check it out here below.
