‘Dark Knight’ Trailer From Wizard World Chicago
space
Empress Eve   |  @   |

DentAnother trailer has been released online for The Dark Knight, the upcoming Christopher Nolan Batman Begins sequel starring Christian Bale and Heath Ledger.

Watch the trailer here below.

This is the trailer that was shown at this past year’s Wizard World in Chicago. There’s very little dialog in this one, so you’ll get a nice earful of the film’s score. There’s a lot of the action scenes in it that have been in other trailers already, but there are some extended scenes and a few new ones as well.

There’s also a part at the very end with Two-Face at the bar, which had previously been released as a viral video (see Two-Face In New “˜Dark Knight’ Viral Video).

The Dark Knight opens in conventional and IMAX theaters on July 18, 2008.

  1. The film is getting great reviews. I’m ready for the 18th to arrive. I saw on a post on rotten tomatoes that there is actually a scene in Batman Begins where the joker is seated a table in the background. I don’t think there was convincing evidence based on the discussion.

  2. One of the more difficult things I have had to do in recent memory is avoid everything Dark Knight. It seems like everyday there is a new trailer, and I am in agony over here trying not to watch. I have only watched the first full trailer once and seen nothing else other than a few stills that every site happens to post. I can’t even visit JoBlo.com anymore because they have footage playing in one of their advertisements. This promotional campaign is just to extensive for me.

  3. I’ve been following the ARGs off and on (and the new whysoserious.com wrap up joker list is awesome to get caught up on it all) and I have to say, I’m with a number of others who are sadly sitting around with the mindset that, if this isn’t one of the best things we’ve seen, it will be a TINY just a TINY bit disappointing.

But advance reviews are coming out and it seems like it is up to snuff, so fingers are crossed that it won’t falter.

Also, as more HQ stuff comes out, someone else I saw mention, and I’m trying to figure out if it holds up, but in nearly every scene Harvey is in, half his face is cast in shadow.
