The MP3 album deal of the day over at Amazon today is Danny Elfman‘s score for Disney’s Alice In Wonderland, the film directed by Tim Burton.
For only $3.99, you get all 24 tracks from the album in MP3 format which you can download to your computer in seconds — trust me, it’s well worth it.
I’ve always been a big fan of Danny Elfman’s scores, especially those he did for Tim Burton movies like The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, and Corpse Bride. Elfman knows how to complement Burton’s whimsy and his scores for the director never disappoint.
I just watched Alice In Wonderland on Blu-ray last night (it will be released on June 1), and while I had mixed thoughts about the movie itself, I totally loved the music. There’s a behind-the-scenes featurette on exclusive to the Blu-ray edition about the scoring the film, which focuses on Elfman and his thought process in composing the music, and it made me just appreciate it more.
I am thrilled that this soundtrack is on sale today, because I’m totally grabbing it for such a low price right now! Grab it while you can too, because the MP3 sales are available for one day only (sometimes it will go to two days, but why chance it?).
He done a great job on the edward scissorhands soundtrack. Brought the movie to life.
Havent seen this movie but will have to check this soundtrack out.
