Written by Lee Brimmicombe-Wood, Aliens: Colonial Marines Technical Manual will be released by Titan Books on May 29, 2012 – just in time for the June 8th release of Ridley Scott’s kinda-sorta Alien prequel, Prometheus.
The book serves as a guide to the weapons, equipment, and procedures of the United States Colonial Marine Corps – those bad-ass Space Marines from the Aliens franchise. Aliens: Colonial Marines Technical Manual is filled with sketches, diagrams, technical schematics, and plans, taking a detailed look at the weapons, vehicles, and ships of the USCMC.
We’ve got an exclusive look at some of the sketches and designs from the revised edition. Check it out here below (click images for larger view).

Keep an eye out for our review of the book once it hits shelves on May 29th!
Seems like a reprint of the UK version produced by Boxtree in 1995. If you missed it the first time around and do not wish to be charged a small fortune on Ebay…
Yeah, I have a copy I picked up years ago and if it’s the same thing it’s very much worth the price. Then again, I have a weakness for fake reference material…

My copy from 95 is a little beat up but one of my prized possessions.
I might pick up a new one just so I don’t add to the wear on my old one.
