The newly created CW network revealed yesterday their primetime schedule for this fall, which includes a resurrected 7th HEAVEN, and the return of SMALLVILLE, VERONICA MARS, and GILMORE GIRLS.
The Geeks of Doom reported yesterday, the anticipated AQUAMAN series, which was to star Justin Hartley, Lou Diamond Phillips, and Ving Rhames, did not appear in the network’s fall line-up. Dawn Ostroff, President of Entertainment for CW, reportedly said at a press conference this week that “Aquaman is still a midseason contender.”
The CW will replace the existing UPN and The WB networks this fall.

If you’re going to be making racially biased blanket-statements, at least attempt to get your facts straight first.
Also, how exactly do you categorize a ‘black’ show? Is there a formula, like for each white there must be four blacks, or are whites totally out?
Can a white show drink at the black show’s fountain?
How about spouting some bias that we can all get behind, like how frakin’ GAY their new logo is or whatnot…

I am a huge fan of everwood, and it wasn’t until last night that I realized it was being cancelled I was upset about that. Oh and for the comment about the one black guy on everwood, he died last night, so there is not anymore blacks on the show. I am disappointed that they are not bringing Eve, half and half, and cutz over to the new network. As for those who do not know what a black show is, it is show that has mainly a black cast and also the majority of blacks watch. Everybody hates Chris not really feeling that show it should have been cancelled. The only “black show” that is good that they carried over to the network is Girlfriends. Also, I am glad that Gilmore Girls, 7th Heaven, ANTM, and definantly Veronica Mars is on the new network.

Hi, First ill start with great job with keeping gilmore girls, one tree hill, and veronica mars. I do have to say that i agree that everwood should have stayed on and i also think bedford diarirs should have been kept. But come on 7th heaven that is the corniest show and the only reason anyone watches it anymore is to see if it can get anymore rediculous. I was so happy when they said it was finally over. As for the other shows i really havent watched them much so i dont really have an opinion. Seriously though the torture of 7th heaven has to stop.

i love the way the new lineup is setup i can watch all of my shows at decent times, i love the fact of having 7th heaven on at 8:00 on mondays because 7th coming on at 11:00 was killing me, but i hung in there because it is by far my favorite show as well as one of the best on t.v. and i am glad to see it returning this fall and hope that it continues for many years to come.

Terrible. No related, no Reba, no Pepper Dennis, no Everwood? Such great shows and now gone? I have been a loyal WB fan for years. Now I am supposed to watch crap because UPN couldn’t get any ratings? I guess I will only watch 1 or 2 shows on the CW now instead of watching the WB most every night. And what is up with 7th heaven being back. The only reason it had any ratings is because it was over.

All I really need to say is, I watched every single night worth of WB shows. Didnt have time to watch any other channel, I loved every one of the shows, have a dvr and record for when i cant be home. The biggest mistake and merging. Everyone was happier. 7th heaven, loved it. But canceling everwood blew.. as for the other half of my shows. And wtf Smackdown? come on dudes.. more people im sure rather watch drama or comedy than their are true fans of wrestling. Not knocking wrestling, but geez.. keep it on upn.. this merger blows. My mistake, let me make something clear…I meant Charmed was one of the best shows, not saying 7th heaven wasn’t good. I love their show and what they stand for, but they had their run and they should let go already. Plus not to be mean at all, but their episodes are pretty much the same anyways-some one is in trouble and some how the Camdens fix the problem before the episode is over. AND as far as this whole BLACK and WHITE ordeal…First of all, why is there even a Black and White ordeal?!?!?!? :( and second, I am both black and white and I think that it is about time that our channels catch up with our era. I love both races equally, but it was becoming a little depressing knowing that eventhough both black and white people had their own station, it was very clear that the blacks were seperated from all of the rest. I really loved the WB and UPN, eventhough we lost a lot of great shows, I think it will be great to finally go to ONE channel and be completely satisfied. :)

Hello, I would like to say sorry to those who were afended by the comments that most of the black show’s were cancled. If you really look at it, they were cancled and it is nothing wrong with people getting upset that their show was taken off. The comments that were made towards us were unapproprate and unecessary. You should put down the dates of when the shows are premiering this fall, that would be helpful. But other than that, I love the line up and times and I am super glad ONE TREE HILL is in the line up because I live for that show. I absolutely love it and I couldn’t live with out it. Every channel that I turn to these days all I see is white, white, and more white. Black people contribute just as much to this society as the white people. We deserve to see ourselves just as much as white people do!!!!!!! Why don’t you take some of these scripts that are written for white people and use black actors instead.

Okay, I am glad most of the “black shows” are gone. I don’t think they added or contributed to anything. Not saying all black shows are bad, because I love “Everybody Hates Chris”. People who think the network will be crap and that One Tree Hill and Gillmore Girls are the only good things on the show, then they are very deluded. I think the line up is pretty decent. And I think it is b.s. to bash the line up and the network before they even begin their lineup. Also I think the three shows that will keep people watching are Veronica Mars which is my favorite and also Supernaturla and Smallville.

I am disappointed that “Everwood” will not be back. That was one of my favorite shows. It falls in the category of “7th Heaven”, so why not put it in the Wednesday night 8:00-9:00 time slot, rather that the ridiculous show “America’s Top Model”. You already have it on Sunday night. I have always watched the WB channel but now I have to join some of the other people here in saying this new line up stinks. I don’t say this because of color but my reason is just simply the line up. I think Half and Half was one of the best shows on the WB line up. Now as for the other sitcoms I use to look at I am not sure if I will still be viewing anything on the line up. That is mostly do to the time frame. Now as for the shows some are good but not all. Why have one show on twice in one week that is a waste now isn’t it.

I will truely miss the Monday night line up. It’s nice that girlfriends will be returning even though it will be different without Toni. Half and Half was great I could really relate to that show. 7th heaven, Sorry but I have no idea what that show is. I am not happy with seeing Americas Top Model more than once a week. What happened to the Eve show, Cuts, Half and Half. What is really going on? All the shows that I liked, watched, and waited on are gone. I like the Monday night shows that are now on, but I enjoyed my other shows as well. I paid extra money to satelite to get these channels and they get rid of them. I am pissed off. If Aquaman isn’t goin to be taken into consideration again, The CW/WB mite lose a money making series. The Pilot was so great. compared to all the sci-fi VGA n all sorts, it was one of a kind. It rocks as hard as smallville, n sumtimes smallville isnt living to its expectations. Compared to other Comic adaptation into tv series, i recon the pilot aired months ago speaks for itself if it shud be continued. It still is a hit on itunes Video downloads. The cast also did a good job, no foul ups of sum sort. Come on CW/WB. tough it up a notch….
