- Get ready for more JACKASS. A JACKASS THREE movie has already been ordered, and the DVD for the second movie will have so many unrelased scenes that it’s being called JACKASS 2.5.
- A DARK CRYSTAL sequel is in the works with Genndy Tartakovsky (SAMURAI JACK, POWERPUFF GIRLS) making his feature-film debut. POWER OF THE DARK CRYSTAL is slated for release in 2008. [Link]
- More casting news for FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER: Beau Garrett joins the cast as scientist and Human Torch love interest Frankie Raye, while Andre Braugher will play a general out to capture the Silver Surfer. [Link]
- There’s also more casting news for THE SPIDERWICK CHRONICLES. Mary-Louise Parker, Nick Nolte and Martin Short are in talks to co-star in the fantasy movie.
- Stuart Gillard (CHARMED) will direct WAR GAMES 2: THE DEAD GAME, the sequel to the 1983 Matthew Broderick computer hacker movie WAR GAMES. [Link]
