Canadians will soon be able to get their hands on Alan Moore‘s pornographic fantasy LOST GIRLS. The Canada Border Services Agency recently cleared the book, which includes graphic sexual content involving minors, for importation into Canada. Canada has some of the strictest laws involving pornography.
In a letter, the CBSA said that the “depictions and descriptions are integral to the development of an intricate, imaginative, and artfully rendered storyline,” and that the “portrayal of sex is necessary to a wider artistic and literary purpose.”
The book will now be available to all Canadian retailers and fans as soon as the new printing arrives at Top Shelf Productions’ distributor in mid-December. Top Shelf expects the new printing to sell out in a single day.
