The trailer for Steve Carell‘s upcoming film Evan Almighty will debut on Thursday, March 29, during NBC’s marathon of Carell’s hit TV show The Office, according to Universal Pictures.
NBC will premiere the trailer for the Bruce Almighty sequel during a three-hour marathon of the popular sitcom dubbed “Night at the Office,” which will air multiple episodes of the show throughout that evening’s prime time. (8 pm – 11 pm Eastern/Pacific; 7 pm – 10 pm Central).
Also, the feature comedy trailer will be promoted on the entertainment news program Access Hollywood during both the Wednesday and Thursday editions of the show.
In Evan Almighty, Carell reprises his role as newcaster Evan Baxter, now newly elected to Congress, but this time around he’s anointed by God (Morgan Freeman) to accomplish a holy mission to build an ark in preparation for a great flood.
Evan Almighty, which also stars Lauren Graham, John Goodman, John Michael Higgins, Jimmy Bennett, Wanda Sykes, and Jonah Hill, is scheduled for released on June 22, 2007.
