The official Doctor Strange animated DVD site is now live at www.marvel.com/doctorstrange. The site has the trailer, a first look at Steve McNiven‘s Doctor Strange art, wallpapers, cast bios, and more content to come.
The animated movie revolves around Dr. Stephen Strange, a gifted surgeon in despair over losing the use of his hands after a car accident. Hoping to find a cure to his ailment, Strange travels to Tibet to train in martial arts and magic alongside Mystical Warriors under the instruction of the Ancient One. To fully embrace his destiny and protect the worlds of magic and reality, Strange must face betrayal, death, and the emergence of Dormammu, ruler of the Dark Dimension and one of the Ancient One’s oldest foes.
Doctor Strange, the fourth film in the Marvel Animated Features line, comes to DVD and BLU-RAY on August 14, 2007. The studio previously released two Ultimate Avengers titles as well as The Invincible Iron Man.
I heard that a movie is in the making, Doctor Strange. Is this true?

Wow, I am super excited for this. I hope it’s as cool as it possibly can be. I always felt that Doctor Strange was a very cool character who typically got the shit end of the stick for writers and artists. Not that there weren’t some great books in there.
I hope the rumor about the live action movie is true…

I HOPE it’s better than Invincible Ironman.
The first Avengers was good, the second one so-so, Ironman sucked.
It should have been called The Unwatchable Ironman

Dr. Strange was always my second favorite CB. I just hope this is better than the first movie. That sucked huge! This would be a good story to tell from the latest and move backward. Dr. Strange is the most complicated character in the Marvel Universe that some attention should be paid.
