So sayeth the latest Marvel press release that invaded (get it?) my inbox over the past few days. I was going to just ignore it, and move along, but something got me about the press release. It was something I had missed when reading the books. The title heading for this 3-issue mini-series is “He Loves You.”

I’m not great at tying one and one together in comics, I usually allow myself just to be swept along and ignore all the linkages until someone (incomic of course) explains it all too me. But this time I couldn’t help but notice that the title to this series is the same thing that all the Skrulls were saying at the very beginning of this invasion, in Secret Invasion #1.

We saw it with Skrull-Jarvis, Skrull-Dum Dum, and I know — but just can’t find it — there are other instances of it throughout the series.

Who were they talking about? What was it all about?

Now, we finally know who they were talking about and just why. It is in fact the Talisman, Nogor, the “Holiest of Skrulls” that was masquerading as Longshot. The one who was already on Earth at the time everything went down, and the guy whose presence ensures — for the Skrulls at least — that they have the gods’ blessing.

So I guess I’m all of a sudden really excited about the final issue in this little arc, even if I’m not overly excited about the art for the X-Factor issues. Check out what I’m going on about in my reviews at Major Spoilers, for X-Factor #33 and She-Hulk #31.
