If you’re a fan of the Indiana Jones films and their legendary scores by composer John Williams, then there’s ultimate musical box set for you [and me] — Indiana Jones: The Soundtracks Collection.
This limited-edition box set, which hits stores November 11, 2008, contains expanded and remastered versions of the scores for the original film trilogy — Indiana Jones film series — Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade — and also includes the music for the most recent addition, this summer’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Encased in an embossed leatherette slip case with a full-color 25-page booklet of behind-the-scenes photos, storyboards, and images, this set also includes a bonus CD with additional previously unreleased music from the films, as well as excerpts from interviews with John Williams, director Steven Spielberg, and executive producer/story creator George Lucas.
Check out some audio clips here below from the collection, as well as two videos — an interview with John Williams and a music video for the original trilogy.
