Shatner’s ‘Raw Nerve’ Debuts Tomorrow at 10PM on Biography

The Biography Channel a lot of William Shatner’s-themed programming this month, which includes the debut of his new talk show Shatner’s Raw Nerve on Tuesday, December 2, at 10pm.

The show will feature Shatner interviewing fellow celebrities, probing them with sensitive questions to touch upon “raw nerve” subjects.

The first episode is with actress Valerie Bertinelli, where they discuss her former marriage to rock star Eddie Van Halen, her son Wolfgang, and her past addictions to food. Future episodes will have Shatner digging deep with Tim Allen, Jimmy Kimmel, Jenna Jameson, Kelsey Grammer, and Judge Judy (see current air date schedule here below). Some yet-to-be scheduled episodes will see Jon Voight and Shatner’s Star Trek co-star Leonard Nimoy in the hot seat.

Also this month, the cable channel will run their one-hour special, Biography: William Shatner — you can catch it today at 11AM ET — as well as Star Trek: Captain’s Log hosted by Shatner, which has interviews with cast members from the original Star Trek series.

Shatner’s Raw Nerve is William Shatner’s own edgy and off-beat celebrity interview series. In each episode Shatner will attempt to probe his guest’s most sensitive subjects and touch upon a Raw Nerve to explore life’s most intriguing questions and unearth his guests’ strange and unknown stories that are most surprising, revealing, funny, touching or bizarre.

Guests include fascinating figures from the pop culture universe such as Valerie Bertinelli, Tim Allen, Jenna Jameson, Jimmy Kimmel, Kelsey Grammer, Judge Judy and many, many more.

This profile looks at Shatner’s long and successful career, which now includes a starring role on the hit series Boston Legal. Interviews include: Leonard Nimoy, James Spader, Candice Bergen, and Patrick Stewart; Shatner’s favorite impersonator actor/comedian Kevin Pollak; TV Guide’s Matt Roush; Robert Schnakenberg, author of the Encyclopedia Shatnerica; daughters Lisabeth and Leslie, his wife Elizabeth, and Shatner himself.
