The MP3 deal of the day over at Amazon today is the album Absolution by the band Muse for only $2.99.

This is the third album by the UK band and contains two of their American hits “Time Is Running Out” and “Hysteria,” and a total of 15 songs. Muse is current the support band on U2’s tour.

Another worthy MP3 mention is the FREE download of the song “Perfect Stranger” by The Donnas from their recently released Greatest Hits album (a deal in and of itself at $8.99 for 16 songs).

I’m not sure how long the Donnas song will be a free download, but the Muse deal is for today only (ends midnight PST).
