Who can’t get enough Twilight Saga info? ME, yes, I’m unashamed to admit it. And now, I can get my information from the horse’s mouth, so to speak.

Summit Entertainment launched their official Twilight Twitter page yesterday and already it’s causing major buzz amongst the many Twilight saga fan pages and blogs across the net.

New Moon director Chris Weitz made the inaugural post yesterday afternoon saying “Hi! Welcome to the official New Moon twitter account. This is my first ever tweet so be gentle with me.” But the squeee-inducing highlight of the day for this Twitard came soon after when an exclusive movie still from New Moon of Bella and Jacob, with the ever emo (and, let’s face it, hotter than hell) Edward in the background. Seriously, it made my day.

Look at it here, no, really, look at it, now (click image for larger, full view!). Oh, and in case you’re interested”¦official run time for New Moon is 2 hours and ten minutes (another juicy tidbit culled from this faboo source)”¦ plan the evening of November 19, 2009 accordingly.

Also of note is the Twilight Tracker app available on iTunes, which, when I first downloaded it, did not impress me. However, it’s really come along and keeps Twifans up to date on the latest New Moon news, sharing high quality New Moon movie stills, character profiles and my personal favorite, the full length trailers from New Moon (as well as the Twilight trailer and teasers) – because really, I watch that stuff daily, no lie.
