March of the Wooden Soldiers is one of my favorites of all time and I’ve been watching it on television every holiday season since I was a little kid. It stars Oliver Hardy and Stan Laurel as toymaker assistants Ollie Dee and Stannie Dum in Toyland, a land of fairy tales and nursery rhymes. One day, the villainous Barnaby threatens to evict the Old Woman Who Lives In A Shoe, so Dee and Dum try to get the money for the mortgage payment but end up unleashing the wicked inhabitants of Toyland.
