Season 36 of Saturday Night Live premiered this past Saturday night, with host Amy Poehler, the former SNL castmember now starring on the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation.
The entire show is online at NBC.com, but I picked a few of my favorite sketches and embedded the videos here below.
One of the clips is Poehler’s monologue, which has a bunch of cool cameos. There’s also “Bronx Beat,” which apparently I’m in, according to my friend and GoD contributor Justin Vactor, who basically thinks any woman with a New York accent is me. And that’s fine, because Mr. Vactor was on this episode of SNL too — check out the “Will Smith” clip!
If you’re a fan of Katy Perry, who was the musical guest for the season premiere, then definitely check out “Bronx Beat,” as she makes an appearance.
For tonight’s episode, Bryan Cranston, star of Breaking Bad (he was also the dad on Malcolm in the Middle), hosts the show with musical guest Kanye West.

Eve = Bronx Beat. She’s my husband…and I love her…..sniff.
