Assassin's Creed BrotherhoodRight now, Amazon is selling Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 for only 34.99 each (that’s 42% off the list price of $59.99). This drops the price even lower than it was earlier this month when it was the Gold Box deal of the day.

Also, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is eligible for the Buy 2 for $79 deal, where for a limited time, you can buy any two of the video games listed in the selection for $79 when they are purchased together in the same order. A sample of the selection is Fallout: New Vegas, Spider Man: Shattered Dimensions, and Medal of Honor, and more.

If you purchase Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood Collector’s Edition: The Complete Official Guide (for $19.79), you’ll can get Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood at an additional 5% off, bringing the total to $53.03 for both items. That’s less than what you would pay regularly just for the game. See the “Best Value” section on the product page for this part of the sale.

From the product page:

  • Choose from multiple authentic character classes, each with their own signature weapons and killing moves. With richly-detailed maps and a wide variety of unique multiplayer modes, you’ll never fight the same way twice
  • As Ezio, a legendary Master Assassin, experience over 15 hours of single player gameplay set in the living, breathing, unpredictable city of Rome
  • Recruit and train promising young Assassins. Deploy them across the city as you see fit, or call upon them to aid you in your quests
  • Collaborate with real historical characters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Niccolo Machiavelli and Caterina Sforza
  • Swiftly eliminate your enemies using tools such as poison darts, parachutes, double hidden blades, hidden guns, and an advanced flying machine at your disposal

From our Holiday Geek Gift Guide 2010: Video Games:

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood picks up where the last game left off, with Ezio trying to figure out what just happened at the end of the last game. Not much time passes before a devastating attack is unleashed on Monteriggioni, the home of your uncle that you moved to with your family in Assassin’s Creed II, forcing you to run off to Rome.

The massive city that was only teased to us last time, but this time we’ll be free to explore it relentlessly, making new allies and preparing to find the man who attacked and uncover more answers to the mysteries of the Apple of Eden.

The game also introduces its own online multiplayer option, allowing players to run around these beautiful cities of old, trying to assassinate each other. This is a welcome change from the popular run and gun multiplayer games.
