The MP3 album deal of the day at Amazon today is Nirvana‘s Nevermind for only $3.99.
Released in 1991, Nevermind was the band’s second album and what propelled Nirvana to stardom with their big hit “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”
I can easily say that every song on Nevermind is a good one, but if you need to justify the four bucks… There’s 12 songs on the album and sold separately they’re $.99 each, so you’re saving nearly $8 by buying it now on sale. Also, all you need are four good songs to justify the price — I already said they’re all good but here you go: There’s the aforementioned “Teen Spirit,” along with “Come As You Are,” “Drain You,” and “On A Plain,” and I’ll tell you, it was really hard for me to choose those four songs amongst the twelve.
By the way, in case you’re unaware, Nirvana was the band fronted by the late Kurt Cobain with Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters fame on drums.
This deal is for today, Wednesday, December 29, 2010, but chances are it will last another day or two — though, you shouldn’t wait just in case.
Note, if you purchase MP3s through Amazon, it downloads into your iTunes account, so it’s as simple as purchasing directly through iTunes. Also, you can now gift these MP3 purchases – just click the “Give album or song as gift” button on the right on the product page.
