| Lin-Manuel Miranda Narrates ‘Drunk History’ Hamilton Episode (Clip)
The Tony-winning Broadway musical Hamilton is a smash hit that recently set the record for most money grossed in a week on Broadway ($3.3 million for 8 performances in one week). The show’s creator Lin-Manuel Miranda has become synonymous with Alexander Hamilton since singlehandedly bringing the American political figure to the forefront of pop culture. So, you can imagine that having Miranda narrate an Alexander Hamilton-themed episode of Drunk History is a pretty big deal. Hosted by Derek Waters, Episode 4.10 “Hamilton” of the Comedy Central show airs today, November 29 at 10:30/9:30c, and sees Miranda quite drunkenly and humorously providing a brief history of the Founding Father’s personal and political life, and his first and last meetings with Aaron Burr. Check out a clip from the episode here below.

| Massive Metal Monday: Probot “Shake Your Blood” (Featuring Lemmy) |
|
You may have noticed that Massive Metal Monday took a well deserved week off for the recent Labor Day holiday here in the United States. But we’re back this week and in keeping with the spirit of Labor Day, this week’s Massive Metal Monday honors two of the hardest working dudes in all of rock, Motorhead’s Lemmy Kilmister and Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl. Dave Grohl, although not really known as a metal musician, has always worn his fandom of the genre on his sleeve. In 2004, he released an all-star record of metal originals under the moniker of Probot and invited a veritable who’s who of metal gods to turn in guest performances. One of the standout tracks and only video released from the album was “Shake Your Blood.” Grohl played all of the instruments on the recording save for the bass, which Lemmy provided along with penning the lyrics for the song. The video features Scott “Wino” Weinrich from The Obsessed and Saint Vitus on guitar. (Wino also appeared on the album’s only single “The Emerald Law.”) The ladies featured in the video are from the adult website Suicide Girls. So, without further ado, here are Lemmy, Wino, and Dave Grohl with this week’s rousing Massive Metal Monday track “Shake Your Blood.”

| Music Review: Ghost B.C. ‘If You Have Ghost’ EPIf You Have Ghost
Ghost
CD | MP3 | Vinyl
Produced by Dave Grohl
Universal Republic
Released November 19, 2013 One of Sweden’s finest current musical exports, Ghost (known as Ghost B.C. in the U.S.), has a new EP out If You Have Ghost that follows up on the band’s sophomore album Infestissumam which was released earlier this year. The 5-song EP, produced by Dave Grohl, continues to expand on the eerie, satanic synth-driven metal sound which has propelled Ghost to fame since their debut back in 2010. Here, Ghost tackles four covers giving them all their unique musical approach and sound, and then concludes with a live version of “Secular Haze”. Two of the covers were available via different Infestissumam releases, though it is nice to have them in one collection.

| Watch Members Of The Foo Fighters Perform ‘2112 Overture’ In Full Rush Garb!Back in December, it was announced that this year my favorite band of all time, Rush, was finally (finally!) and deservedly going to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Well, it’s official, Rush is now in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! The ceremony, which also saw Heart, Public Enemy, and several other artists added to the Hall, was held on Thursday, April 19, 2013 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, with Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters doing the induction honors for Rush. And not only did the Foo boys give the speech about the Canadian trio, but they also teamed up with producer Nick Raskulinecz to perform the “Overture” from Rush’s 2112 live on stage while sporting the Rush 2112-era look, complete with white satin robes and wigs! Watch the video here below of the performance capture by fan video – be sure to watch til the end for some cool shit!!!
