Empress Eve   |  @   |

DisneyWith Disney‘s new animated film Tangled coming to theaters next week, the The Fine Brothers have pulled together a 3-minute video that reveals spoilers for all 50 feature-length animated Disney movies.

Watch the video here below.

While these technically are spoilers, you’ll notice a running theme throughout half of these movies, which are based on fairy tales, so I think you can guess what that theme is.

The films mentioned are ‘spoiled’ in chronological order, and the bros do it all in one take. Below is a list of the movies mentioned.

Daniel Day-Lewis Replaces Liam Neeson In Steven Spielberg’s Abraham Lincoln Movie
space
The Movie God   |  @   |

For the longest time, Liam Neeson was attached to play Abraham Lincoln in the Steven Spielberg film titled Lincoln. Back in August, however, it was revealed that Neeson had decided to step away from the movie because he felt he was a little too old and that he was “past my sell-by date” for the role. At the time the news was pretty disappointing due to how perfect Neeson felt for the part, but now a new actor has been chosen and he should be considered pretty universally adequate for the job.

According to Deadline, two-time Academy Award winner Daniel Day-Lewis has signed on to play President Lincoln in the movie. Lewis has won Oscars for 1989’s My Left Foot and more recently for his role as Daniel Plainview in There Will Be Blood. Many believe he was also robbed of the award for his work as Bill the Butcher in Martin Scorsese’s Gangs of New York.

Geek Art: ‘Empire Strikes Back’ 30th Anniversary Artwork – ‘I Love You…I Know’
space
Empress Eve   |  @   |

Empire 30th Artwork Collection: "I Love You...I Know"I love you… I know.

Does this have any significance to you?

Yes? Cool, because you’ll love this new limited edition art print currently being sold exclusively through the official Star Wars Shop.

Artist Amy Beth Christenson, of LucasArts, created this piece titled “I Love You…I Know” and it’s the ninth of twelve prints in a special monthly limited art collection to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back.

The artwork captures the scene from Empire in the carbon-freezing chamber between Han Solo and Princess Leia as they are about to kiss, just before Han is lowered into the carbonite. In one of the greatest lines in the film, and without a doubt, one of the most memorable romantic parting words on screen, Leia finally confesses her love for Han. “I love you,” Leia tells Han. And this scoundrel’s reply? “I know.”

A wonderful aspect of this print is that not only do we get Han and Leia at the forefront, but behind the doomed lovers stand Chewbacca with the dismantled C-3PO on his back on the left, with Darth Vader and Boba Fett on the right.
